I believe that the ingredients for a good dinner party are great food, great service and a host who is free to relax and entertain guests. Here at Lynn Hilditch Catering we supply the food and the service leaving you free to concentrate on your evening.

• Lynn caters for 6 to 35 guests.

DESIGN YOUR OWN MENU
Design your own menu to send to your guests so they can pick what they would like to pre-order for your Party
• Please choose your 2 starters, 2 Main Courses and 2 Desserts (or Lynn’s Trio of Desserts)
• If you require any Vegetarian / Vegan options please choose as 1 of your choices
• If there are any Allergens then please contact Lynn to see how the menus can be adapted.

Lynn will then cook, deliver and together with her team, serve your dinner party in your own home, leaving you free to relax with friends knowing that the food is all taken care of.

DROP OFF MENU: All meals cooked by Lynn and delivered to your home or holiday cottage ready for you to heat and serve at your leisure.

PIE NIGHT IN: Delicious home-made, seasonal pies made by Lynn with fresh local ingredients. Cooked and delivered to your home or holiday cottage complete with a selection of vegetables, potatoes and gravy according to your choice.

AFTERNOON TEA: The Afternoon Tea menu is available as a ‘Drop Off’ Menu or can be served by us in your own home – Please discuss your requirements with Lynn

KITCHEN REQUIREMENTS: If Lynn and her team are coming to your home to serve then the kitchen which Lynn is going into must be clean and ready to use – They should not be expected to have to clean up before they start. This includes having clean crockery and cutlery and that there is adequate space in the fridge for food on arrival.

STAFF:Waiting on staff and / or bar staff as and when required, will be on site to clean and polish cutlery and glasses, set up the dining room to your seating plan, help Lynn clean up and wash up as the night goes on.
The waiting staff do not served alcohol.
For up to 14 people Lynn will bring 1 member of staff
For over 14 people Lynn will bring two members of staff

STAFF PAYMENT: Please understand that payment is £48 per member of staff for anything up to a 4 hour period – Over 4 hours is to be paid extra at a rate of £12.50 per hour per member of staff. Staff payment is to be paid in cash to each member of staff on the night.

STAFF PAYMENT: Is in addition to your menu charge.

ALCOHOL: Any alcohol required must be supplied by the client Lynn Hilditch Catering does not supply alcohol.

WHERE DO WE SOURCE OUR INGREDIENTS?
All of our ingredients are from local suppliers wherever possible.
• Many Vegetables and Herbs from Lynn’s own Garden, Greenhouse & Polytunnel
• Other Fresh Fruit and Veg from Stephenson’s of Appleby (Est 1890)
• Tirril Ale is brewed at Tirril Brewery based in Long Marton, Appleby
• Jersey Milk & Cream from Abbot Lodge Jersey Farm, Clifton
• Organic Free-Range Eggs
Appleby Creamery Cheeses
• Lockerbie Cheddar (Lockerbie Cheese Creamery)
The Fish Cellar, Devonshire Arcade, Penrith
St James Smoke House, Dumfries
