We were fortunate enough to have our wedding at Blencowe Hall for a small, intimate ceremony over the course of a long weekend. The catering for the wedding was fulfilled by Lynn Hilditch and was absolutely exceptional, the dining room would go completely quiet with each course served.
The whole wedding party was in agreement that it was some of the best food they had ever eaten, especially the pork which had been cooking since 4 am! I couldn’t recommend Lynn highly enough, she really helped make the weekend and was very personable to match.

Your attention to detail during the planning of a varied menu, to include the needs of guests who were vegan, gluten-free and small children, was tremendously helpful. We had a wonderful time; your three-course meal was delicious. The calm preparation of you and your team, coupled with the attention to the pace of the meal as it progressed, and the spotless kitchen left at the end, really made it a 5 star experience for all concerned.

Our family of 23 stayed for several days on the Rowley Estate. Lynn and her team made us breakfast each day and dinner twice. The food was really delicious. Lynn was professional but very friendly at the same time. A perfect combination. We would definitely recommend Lynn, and hopefully we will have another occasion ourselves to use her again.

Lynn Hilditch catering was the perfect choice for our 40th birthday celebrations at Melmerby Hall in May. Lynn’s food was beautifully presented, made with the finest local Cumbrian produce and meats and tasted phenomenal. The Lamb Shank roasted in ale was a huge highlight. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lynn to friends and would certainly book again for future events. Simply superb food and great value also.
