We have recently just returned from a weekend at Melmerby Hall and Stag Cottage for my Mum’s 80th Birthday. There were 22 of us in total occupying both properties and I can honestly say it was one of the best weekends we have all ever had. We  were waited on hand and foot by Lynn Hilditch catering on the Saturday evening. We didn’t even know they were there as they are so efficient and they served what was probably one of the best three course meals we have all ever eaten. Lynn was amazing to deal with from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble for her. When can we come back is the unanimous cry from the family, as we definitely will be.

We had our perfect wedding day at Blencowe Hall back in September. A special thanks goes to Lynn Hilditch who is recommended by The Rowley Estate and provided us with the most delicious food. We had a ‘drop-off’ meal on the Friday evening, a full English breakfast on Saturday morning, canapés on the lawn after our wedding ceremony, a 2-course wedding breakfast and then pizzas on Saturday evening. The food and service from Lynn and her staff was perfect. We would highly recommend Lynn when staying at Blencowe Hall (or any of the other Rowley Estate properties). We had many complements from guests about the food and Lynn was able to cater for the various dietary requirements that our guests had. Melmerby Hall – All our meals were catered by Lynn Hilditch and her food was absolutely delicious and delighted our guests. Lynn’s portions were so generous we had more leftovers than we could possibly eat up before it was time to leave.

Thanks for arranging the catering we really could not fault anything from the afternoon tea, pizza and service.
