A special thanks goes to Lynn Hilditch who is recommended by The Rowley Estate and provided us with the most delicious food. We had a ‘drop-off’ meal on the Friday evening, a full English breakfast on Saturday morning, canapés on the lawn after our wedding ceremony, a 2-course wedding breakfast and then pizzas on Saturday evening. The food and service from Lynn and her staff was perfect. We would highly recommend Lynn when staying at Blencowe Hall (or any of the other Rowley Estate properties). We had many complements from guests about the food and Lynn was able to cater for the various dietary requirements that our guests had.

Nothing too much trouble
We have booked Lynn Hilditch for the wedding breakfast and again nothing is to much trouble and we can design our own menu with different choices. Lynn even does a drop of service so you don’t have to do any cooking if you don’t want to!

Best Sticky Toffee Pudding Ever Eaten
My main contact was with the incredible Lynn Hilditch and her team of culinary experts regarding catering over the weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she delivered beautiful food on the night of our arrival including the best sticky toffee pudding I have ever eaten.
Lynn Returned to cook us a full English breakfast for 30 people on Friday morning then served a 5* three course meal for us all in the evening. The lamb shanks had been cooking slowly for about 5 hours and the meat just fell off the bone, delicious. Cannot praise them high enough
The Best Beef Wellington
I had my birthday dinner catered for by Lynn Hilditch, who is recommended on the Melmerby Hall website. Lynn was absolutely exceptional – providing an astounding six course 1930s themed dinner, simultaneously allowing for vegetarian and vegan guests. The best beef wellington I will ever taste, as well as home-grown veg and regional produce every step of the way. We were awestruck, and very grateful!
The Incredible Lynn Hilditch!
On our first night at Cazenovia Hall I arranged for the incredible Lynn Hilditch to bring us a Cumbrian High Tea as a surprise for my wife. It was fantastic. She delivered not only beautiful sandwiches but home made quiche, cakes, chutney and scones. I ordered for 7 of us and we were still finishing it off 2 days later!
The quality was fantastic, we will definitely order with Lynn again. I cannot speak highly enough of this service.
